Position Summary
The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) delivers high quality, assessment-based leadership programs to clients from the for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors. This position provides administrative, logistics and communications support related to order management, workshop and webinar logistics and preparation, business development, reporting and digital marketing specifically for the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile (EMP).

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional administrative and communication skills, a strong detail orientation, ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ideally, experience using digital marketing tools. This position will work mainly in-person on the Eckerd College campus during traditional business hours.

Essential Functions (other non-essential duties may be assigned)

  1. Assists with pre-, during- and post-program logistics, such as processing applications, registrations and certifications, tracking participant assignments, coordinating, packing, shipping and printing program materials.
  2. Generates invoices and processes and fulfills client orders.
  3. Tracks and updates product inventory.
  4. Maintains client databases and participant spreadsheets, performs daily data entry and ensures data accuracy.
  5. Responds verbally and in writing to leads, client needs, program staff, coaches and faculty in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Serves as a portal technical liaison for practitioners and participants.
  7. Supports marketing and communications efforts, such as email campaigns, coordinating events and tradeshows, updating websites, creating social media posts and building digital newsletters.
  8. Creates and updates user manuals documenting various processes related to order and program management and digital marketing projects.

Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities, and certifications needed upon entry into the position)

  • Knowledge of and skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms).
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Skills in organization and resourcefulness.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to reflect a positive attitude, patience and a good-natured demeanor with clients, program participants, and faculty.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment (both under supervision and independently) and to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality policies governing the use of personal data (LDI adheres to the American Psychological Association's Code of Ethics pertaining to the use of data).

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

  • Frequently required to remain stationary and perform work on a computer or mobile device.
  • Frequently required to communicate with others via email, video conferencing, chat applications, social media, and/or telephone.
  • Occasionally required to move or transport up to 25 pounds.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred) plus 1-2 years of relevant experience in invoicing, making payments and organizing basic administrative financial tasks. Experience using Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Hootsuite, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
